DescriptionWhat is IOT? The Internet of Things (IOT) describes the network of physical objects -“things”- that are embedded with sensors, software, and other technologies for the purpose of connecting and exchanging data with other devices and systems over the internet. These devices range from ordinary household objects to sophisticated industrial tools. With more than 7 billion connected IoT devices today, experts are expecting this number to grow to 10 billion by 2020 and 22 billion by 2025. What does the Internet Of Things (IOT) mean for the future of work? The possibilities for IoT are limitless, but three major benefits of these technologies will reshape the workplace as we know it: data, communication and automation. According to EY, the IoT market will be worth $225 billion by 2020. This workshop helps you to understand the importance of IoT, and its role in the ever changing atmosphere of work, and how you can leverage this to anticipate the future of work. Feel free to share this workshop on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & Email. Write to medha@thepridecircle.com in case you need assistance in registering for the workshop/s |
